Under surveillance: Indications of the first moisture flow to the Arabian Peninsula gradually during the last third of October
Arabia Weather - Despite the stability of the atmosphere in large parts of the Arabian Peninsula, and even temperatures are recorded several degrees above their usual levels these days, the Weather Forecast Department at the Arabia Weather Center is closely monitoring the outputs of weather maps, which indicate that there is an expected change in the weather. In many parts of it, including parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, gradually during the last third of October.
The latest weather readings indicate that parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to some other Gulf countries, are on a date with the first moisture flow from tropical regions, and this coincides with the beginning of the crossing of the upper air depressions into the region’s atmosphere, which leads to air activity accompanied by an increase in the chances of rainfall. Which is accompanied by the occurrence of lightning strikes and activity in downdrafts raising dust, in addition to variations in temperatures in many regions.
Accordingly, the weather in the Gulf countries is expected to be as follows:
- The remainder of the week and next week, from October 12 to 19: Chances of thunderstorm rain remain focused on the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha highlands, in addition to the coastal plains, with the possibility that some rain will extend to parts of the highlands. Mecca on some days. While it is stable in the rest of the regions with temperatures higher than normal.
- The last third of October: Cold upper basins begin to coincide with the flow of moisture with tropical characteristics to the region. This, God willing, leads to a gradual increase in rain chances and the formation of weather conditions, especially in the last week of the month, in many areas.
God knows best and highest.
