موقع ArabiaWeather.com- حذر مجموعة من الخبراء و المختصين بأمراض الجلد من مخاطر التعرض المفرط لأشعة الشمس فوق البنفسجية بعدما أثبتت الدراسات العلمية أن التعرض لأشعة الشمس، على الرغم من فوائدها الكثيرة كونها مصدراً أساسياً وطبيعيا للفيتامين "د" يعد سببا رئيسيا للإصابة بسرطان الجلد.
وقال رئيس اللجنة العلمية لمؤتمر ومعرض "دبي ديرما " الدكتور حسن كلداري عبر، إن خطر التعرض للإصابة بسرطان الجلد بات عاليا في مجتمعاتنا بسبب الإفراط في التعرض لأشعة الشمس فوق البنفسجية المؤذية خصوصاً في موسم الصيف.
وللوقاية من خطر الإصابة بسرطان الجلد أكد كلداري ضرورة تفادي التعرض الكثيف لأشعة الشمس من العاشرة صباحا وحتى الرابعة بعد الظهر، لافتاً إلى ضرورة استخدام المستحضرات الواقية من أشعة الشمس التي لا يقل مؤشر الحماية فيها عن الثلاثين بالإضافة إلى استعمال النظارات الشمسية.
