In Jordan, the government usually issues an official decision to suspend work in official institutions and departments on the “Day of Pause” in preparation for Eid Al-Adha.
If the astronomical forecasts agree, the Eid al-Adha holiday will extend from Sunday, June 16, until Thursday, June 20, and will be followed by two days of the weekend. Thus, Jordanians will be able to enjoy a holiday period of 9 consecutive days, according to expectations.
