Dubai Trolley.. the world's first `hydrogen` public transport
ArabiaWeather.com - The Emirate of Dubai has recently started providing the "Dubai Trolley" service, which is the world's first hydrogen-powered means of transport. With the aim of providing more facilities and flexibility in the movement of residents and visitors in the emirate.
The trolley passes along Mohammed bin Rashid Street in Dubai, and it was unveiled for tourism reasons, given that its path will be on the most important and famous tourist attractions in Dubai, including Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Souk Al Bahar, and the most important shopping and dining destinations.
The double-decker carriage accommodates (50) passengers, and is classically designed in red colors intertwined with gold and green, according to the highest safety standards.
The new trolley rides over a distance of one kilometer in the first phase of the trolley experience.
Tours start during weekdays from 4:00 pm to around midnight, while on weekends, tours will be from 3:00 am to 11:00 pm.
Experts are working on developing the "Dubai Trolley" project, so that the trolley will travel about 7 kilometers when it enters the full operation phase, while adhering to the traffic system.
