14 new cases of the omicron mutant were recorded in Jordan, and 104 suspected cases
Weather of Arabia - The Minister of State for Information Affairs, the official spokesman for the government, Faisal Al-Shaboul, confirmed today, Thursday, the registration of 14 new cases of the Omicron mutant out of 250 examinations that were conducted after 104 suspected cases of the mutant were suspected.
Thus, the number of active Omicron infections in the Kingdom is 19.
Al-Shboul said, in statements to the media, that the health authorities took samples from 250 people, who are suspected of being infected with the mutant, and those in contact with them, indicating that the results of the tests began to appear today (Thursday).
On Thursday, the government announced the arrival of the first shipment of “PCR” examination of the Omicron mutant for use at the airport.
The Ministry of Health had previously announced that 7 cases of the “Omicron” mutant of the Corona virus had been recorded in Jordan, 6 of them came from abroad, and all the infected were institutionally isolated in a hotel in the capital, Amman.
