Suspending the school hours in the Northern Valley due to the intense heat
Arab Weather - The Education Directorate in the Northern Valley has suspended, on Sunday, students' attendance in schools, due to the high temperatures in the district, which reached a peak of about 46 degrees.
The decision came after the brigade witnessed an unprecedented increase in temperatures, and the Director of Education for the Northern Valley, Talib al-Amayreh, confirmed that the suspension process includes students and teachers with the exception of the staff of the District Education Directorate.
Amayreh indicated that the aim of the suspension is to preserve the health of students, especially that the Jordan Valley is witnessing a rise in temperatures, indicating that the suspension process is according to the data and circumstances and that the suspension is for one day.
It is worth noting that yesterday, Saturday, the death of an agricultural worker occurred as a result of heat stroke, and today a forty-year-old youth died while working on the farm, and according to the medical report, he confirmed that the cause of death was also heat stroke.
