موقع ArabiaWeather.com- أكدت نائبة مدير محمية "بريانسكي ليس" للشؤوون العلمية، يلينا سيتنيكوفا، أن الدببة استفاقت مبكرًا من سباتها الشتوي لهذا العام؛ نتيجة الارتفاع الملحوظ على درجات الحرارة الناجم عن التغير المناخي، حيث استيقظت بتاريخ 7 شباط/ فبراير.
وذكرت أن الدببة في المحمية الواقعة في مقاطعة بريانسك غرب روسيا، حطمت الرقم القياسي الذي سجلته العام المنصرم 2015 بموعد صحوتها الذي سجل بتاريخ 12 شباط/ فبراير، وفقا للكاميرات المنتشرة في المحمية.
وأضافت "سيتنيكوفا" أن دبّان اثنان استيقظا من سباتهما الشتوي في آن واحد، ولكن في منطقتين متباعدتين من المحمية، وفقًا لما أظهرت بيانات كاميرات المراقبة الموجودة في المحمية لرصد حركة الحيوانات وتصوير طبيعة عيشها.
وأشارت إلى أن عدد الدببة التي تعيش في المحمية والحراج المحيط بها لا يتجاوز 25 دبا.
