Arab weather - Sinan Khalaf - Although the temperature has temporarily decreased to levels in the middle of the forties in the east and center of the Kingdom, weather forecasts indicate that temperatures will rise again and gradually, to approach 50 again at the end of the week.
Approaching 50 in Al-Ahsa and 47 expected in Riyadh
Summer flames dominate the region again
It is expected that most regions in eastern and central Saudi Arabia will be affected remarkably as of Thursday, and temperatures will rise in some areas, such as Al-Ahsa, to touch the 49 degrees Celsius barrier on Friday, and may exceed that in some interior parts of the Eastern Province and the Empty Quarter desert.
The capital, Riyadh, is also directly affected by this hot weather, and temperatures are expected to rise on Thursday and Friday to be around 47 degrees Celsius, provided that this hot weather will continue to affect the region until the end of the week.
The Arab Weather website notes the necessity of:
- Avoid direct and prolonged exposure to the sun, especially during the afternoon and afternoon
- Avoid exerting efforts under the sun during this heat wave period, in order to avoid sunstroke.
- Not to risk leaving children inside closed vehicles, as it poses a threat to their lives in light of the high temperatures
