Monkeypox is spreading in the world..and these countries have announced confirmed infections

Countries that have reported human cases of monkeypox

1. France: France has reported its first case of monkeypox in a man from the Ile-de-France region. Health authorities said Friday that the man had not recently traveled to a country where the virus is currently spreading.
2. Belgium: Belgium has reported two confirmed cases who live in different cities but were present at a party, and Agence France-Presse, quoting Belgian media reports, said that they are in good health, and that they are in quarantine.
3. Germany: The first case from Germany was confirmed by the Institute of Microbiology of the German Armed Forces in Munich.
4. Italy: Italy on Thursday reported its first case.
5. Sweden: Sweden reported its first case on Thursday.
6. Canada: On Thursday evening (May 19), Canada recorded the first two cases of monkeypox in humans in the province of Quebec, and these are the first two confirmed cases in Canada, and the Provincial Department of Public Health in Montreal reported 17 suspected cases.
7. United States: The United States also recorded its first case of monkeypox after the Massachusetts Department of Health announced on Wednesday (May 18) that a young man from Canada had contracted.
8. United Kingdom: The UK's Health Security Agency said on Friday it had detected 11 new infections, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 20.
9. Spain: Spanish authorities reported 14 confirmed cases on Friday (20 May), bringing the total to 21. There are another 20 suspected cases - 19 in the central region of Madrid and one in the Canary Islands, Reuters quotes health authorities as saying.
10. Portugal: Portugal records 14 new cases of monkeypox, bringing the number of infected people in the country to 37.
11. Australia: On Friday (May 20) the Australian authorities detected a possible case of monkeypox in a traveler who had recently returned from Europe, and the New South Wales Department of Health reported that a man in his forties had fallen ill several days after arriving in Sydney and had symptoms clinically compatible with monkey pox.
12. Occupied entity in Palestine: A spokesman for Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv confirmed on Saturday (May 21) that a 30-year-old man had contracted monkeypox after he had recently returned from Western Europe with symptoms of the disease, and this is the first appearance of the disease in the Middle East.
13. Switzerland: Switzerland announced, on Saturday (May 21), the first case of monkeypox was recorded in a person living in the canton of Bern (the capital), and the health authority announced that the patient was exposed to the virus while traveling outside the country.
14. Argentina: On Friday (May 27), Argentina announced the first confirmed case of monkeypox in Latin America, a 40-year-old man who had recently traveled to Spain.
15. Austria: On Sunday (May 22), Austria announced the discovery of a case of monkeypox virus.
16. Denmark: On Monday (May 23), Denmark recorded its first case of monkeypox in a man who had recently returned from a trip to Spain.
17. Slovenia: The first infection was recorded by Slovenia on May 24, in a man who showed symptoms of the disease after returning from the Spanish Canary Islands.
18. UAE: The UAE Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday (24 May) that it had detected the first case of monkeypox in a West African woman.
19. Czech Republic: The Czech Republic detected the first confirmed case on May 24, in a man who showed symptoms of the disease after returning from a music festival in Antwerp (northern Belgium) in early May.
20. Finland: Finland recorded its first infection on May 27.
21. Morocco: On Thursday (2 June), the Ministry of Health in Morocco announced the first confirmed case of monkeypox.
