Arab Weather - After a period of stability and high temperatures in the Kingdom during the past few days, a noticeable change in the weather is expected as the weekend approaches.

Weather on Friday

According to weather forecasters at "Arab Weather", the latest numerical models indicate another drop in temperatures on Friday as a result of the Kingdom being affected by a relatively cold air mass. Therefore, the weather on Friday is expected to be relatively cold in most areas, with clouds appearing at varying heights and a weak possibility of local and limited showers of rain in some places. Fog is also likely to form in the morning on the peaks of the southern highlands, with moderate northwesterly winds that will pick up in the afternoon.

As for the weather conditions at night on Friday, temperatures are expected to drop significantly compared to previous nights, making the atmosphere colder, with the appearance of low clouds. The weather is likely to be very cold in some desert areas, the eastern plains and the high mountains in the north and south of the Kingdom, with a chance of frost in the early morning hours. Fog may also form in the eastern plains and some desert roads.

Weather on Saturday

On Saturday, another drop in temperatures is expected, with generally cold weather and scattered clouds, with a possibility of fog forming in the morning in the eastern plains. At night, a cold wave is expected to sweep into the Kingdom, causing temperatures to drop significantly, becoming very cold in most areas, and very cold in the desert and eastern plains, with a possibility of frost forming, especially in those areas.

• Beware of fog formation on Saturday morning on desert roads and eastern plains.
• Beware of frost formation in some areas during the night and Sunday morning.
• Wear heavy winter clothing to face the cold weather.
