In Algeria, the crescent will be monitored through the National Committee for the Observation of Crescents, which is chaired by His Excellency the Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, and there are 48 monitoring committees at the state level that take into account astronomical scientific standards in the validation or denial of visions, as well as the principle of the unity of sightings, and it is expected to be announced on May 17 The first Ramadan, given that the crescent moon will stay only 3 minutes in Algiers.
