Air quality in some areas of Jordan is recording dangerous levels
Weather of Arabia - With the Kingdom starting to be affected yesterday by unstable weather conditions, strong sandstorms affected large parts of Jordan, affecting many aspects of public life, including air quality.
According to the air quality index in Jordan, issued by the Ministry of Environment, the index showed dangerous levels for public health in some regions of the Kingdom this morning, Sunday, and very unhealthy in other regions.
But some improvement occurred with the noon hours, as the latest update (at 12 noon) showed that areas in Amman such as Yarmouk, the air quality in it remained dangerous to public health, and that the Greater Amman Municipality area, the air quality in it became unhealthy for groups that suffer from sensitive In other regions, air quality was unhealthy.
