JIA and the Digital Cooperation Organization discuss ways to support leadership and digital transformation
Weather of Arabia - The Jordanian Entrepreneurship and Creativity Association "JIA" discussed with the Digital Cooperation Organization ways of cooperation between the two parties in the fields of economy, digital transformation and entrepreneurship.
On Monday, the two parties discussed possibilities of cooperation and coordination to help Jordanian companies working in the field of digital transformation, entrepreneurship and electronic payment with the aim of networking with the organization to establish real partnerships and open new markets.
This came during a reception and meeting organized by the JIA Association for the Secretary-General of the Digital Cooperation Organization, Dima Al-Yahya and her accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the Executive Director of the JIA Association, Ayat Amro, confirmed that the Jordan Entrepreneurship and Creativity Association will help in coordination and communication with many Jordanian companies working in the field of digital transformation, entrepreneurship and electronic payment with the aim of networking with the organization to establish real partnerships, open new markets, and discuss ways to remove Challenges and obstacles with the aim of facilitating small companies and emerging entrepreneurs to access real opportunities through which they can invest in the OIC countries.
Al-Yahya expressed "the possibility of providing all forms of cooperation and assistance as an organization to advance the digital sector in all member countries of the organization, especially Jordan, which is considered one of the founding countries," explaining that "the foundation works to support women's empowerment in the digital labor market, in addition to initiatives aimed at serving entrepreneurship. And small and medium-sized companies to grow and achieve a digital future for all, a special initiative to assess and measure the maturity of the digital economy in the OIC countries, and the OIC Digital Excellence Awards initiative, which are awards granted to government agencies, private sector companies, international organizations and individuals in recognition of their efforts in a specific digital sector.
The Digital Cooperation Organization, launched at the initiative of several countries in November 2020, is concerned with strengthening cooperation in all areas driven by innovation and accelerating the growth of the digital economy, where the number of its members so far is 7 (Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Sultanate of Oman, Pakistan and Nigeria).
