Vehicle exhaust heat produces electrical energy
ArabiaWeather.com - Khitam Amer - It is known that a large number of vehicles waste part of the energy as a result of the internal combustion that occurs inside their engines, and a number of studies indicate that the operational efficiency of car engines barely reaches 30%, and therefore a large proportion of the fuel is not used. Rather, it is converted into waste heat that flows out of the vehicle's exhaust pipes.
In addition, that waste heat is used up in friction and air resistance.
At the present time, a number of researchers in the field of physics design thermoelectric or electric generators, as these generators are based on converting the thermal energy emitted from the exhaust of the vehicle into electrical energy by means of special generators that take advantage of the temperature difference between the internal combustion gases, which may reach 700 degrees Celsius and the coolant temperature in the engine.
These generators operate the devices and equipment attached to the vehicle, and thus the amount of fuel consumed inside the vehicles decreases by up to 7%.
