موقع ArabiaWeather.com - أعلنت السُلطات اليابانية الخميس عن ارتفاع أعداد ضحايا بركان جبل "اونتاكي" إلى 57 قتيلاً فيما لا يزال 6 أشخاصٍ آخرين في عداد المفقودين.

 

وأكدت السُلطات على أن عمليات الإنقاذ والبحث عن رفاة المفقودين لم تزل مُستمرة في الموقع حتى اليوم، مشيرةً إلى أنها ستواصل عمليات البحث حتى استخراج جميع الجُثث.

 

وكان بركان جبل "اونتاكي"  قد ثار في الـ 27 من سبتمبر الماضي مُخلفاً عدداً كبيراً من القتلى والمفقودين.

 

يُشار إلى أن اليابان تعد من أكثر دول العالم نشاطاً للزلازل، إلاّ أن وفياتاً لم تنجم عن ثورات بركانية منذ عام 1991 عندما قتل 43 شخصاً على جبل اونزين جنوب غرب البلاد.
