The date of the second and last lunar eclipse this year will be on the evening of Tuesday, November 8, when the eclipse occurs when the moon passes completely through the Earth’s shadow and is located between the Earth and the sun, and its color gradually becomes dark and turns rusty or blood red .

The total lunar eclipse on Tuesday will not be visible in any of the Arab countries, but some Arab regions will witness a partial eclipse.

Tuesday's lunar eclipse will be visible in varying proportions in southern and eastern Europe - Asia - Australia - North America - South America - the Pacific Ocean - the Atlantic Ocean - the Indian Ocean. All phases from its beginning to its end take approximately 5 hours and 54 minutes, while the total eclipse phase takes approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes.

As for the Arab countries, the eclipse can be observed in parts of the Arab countries in the form of a semi-lunar eclipse or an incomplete eclipse, so that the moon passes in the semi-shadow of the earth, and the light of the moon only weakens , from each of the following:

• Emirates: The moon rises at 5:33 pm (local time), the semi-eclipse occurs at 5:36 pm, so that the moonlight weakens and lasts about 22 minutes.
• Oman: The moon rises at 5:22 pm (local time), a semi-eclipse occurs at 5:25 pm, when the moonlight weakens and lasts about 33 minutes.
• Bahrain: The moon rises at 4:51 pm (local time), the semi-eclipse occurs at 4:53 pm, so that the moonlight weakens and lasts about 5 minutes.
• Qatar: The moon rises at 4:49 pm (local time), the semi-eclipse occurs at 4:51 pm, so that the moonlight weakens and lasts about 7 minutes.
• Parts of the eastern and southeastern region in Saudi Arabia: The moon rises at 4:52 (local time), the semi-eclipse occurs at 4:54 pm, so that the moonlight weakens and lasts about 4 minutes.
  

The date of the next total lunar eclipse

This eclipse is the last total lunar eclipse that the Earth has witnessed for more than 3 years, as the next total lunar eclipse will be on March 14, 2025.

It is worth noting that it is possible to take advantage of the phenomena of solar and lunar eclipses, to ascertain the beginning and end of the lunar or hijri months, as the phenomena clearly reflect the movement of the moon around the earth and the movement of the earth around the sun.
