A partial lunar eclipse in the sky of Jordan on Monday
<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr">Weather of Arabia - Omar Dajani - On Monday, most Arab countries, including Jordan, will witness a distinct astronomical phenomenon, represented by a partial eclipse of the moon with the first hours of the night.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Astronomical calculations indicate that the partial eclipse will begin at exactly 8:20 pm Jordan time, when the moon begins to enter the shadow of the earth, in the lower part of it.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The eclipse reaches its climax at 9:20 at night, when the moon is covered by about 25% of the Earth's shadow, provided that the eclipse ends after about an hour, around 10:20 at night.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The eclipse is considered one of the atmospheric phenomena that are easy to observe with the naked eye without the use of astronomical or optical equipment.</p>
