The "Green Riyadh" program comes in support of raising the classification of the city of Riyadh among its counterparts in the cities of the world, and making it one of the best cities for living by raising the economic value, increasing investment opportunities, stimulating the participation of the private sector, in addition to contributing to improving the quality of life by establishing open areas and encouraging activities. The "Green Riyadh" included the following neighborhoods: (Al-Naseem, Al-Azizia, Al-Jazirah, Al-Areja'); Where 241 thousand trees and shrubs were planted, 97 gardens, 33 schools, 83 mosques, 37 car parking sites, 66 km of roads and paths were planted in Al-Naseem neighborhood, 623 thousand trees and shrubs were planted, 54 gardens, 61 schools, 121 mosques, and 78 sites were planted. for parking lots, in addition to 176 km of roads and lanes in the Aziziyah neighborhood.

It included the planting of more than 39,000 trees and shrubs, the implementation of 11 gardens, the afforestation of 37 mosques, 14 schools, 36 km of roads and paths in the Al-Jazira neighborhood, the planting of 110,000 trees and shrubs, 30 new gardens, the afforestation of 19 schools, in addition to the afforestation of 46 mosques and the afforestation of 70 A site for car parks, and the planting of 37 km of roads and paths in Al-Oreija neighborhood.
