The Day of Arafat is “the best day on which the sun rises,” when believers gather at the level of “Arafat” from all over the world in one place, at one time, and in one clothing. Their hearts are united in a great scene, responding to the call of God Almighty, “Here you are, O God, here you are,” raising their palms in supplication. They asked for forgiveness and mercy, asking God Almighty to grant them His great bounty.

And thousands of miles away, the eyes of Muslims all over the world are directed towards the pilgrims to the Sacred House of God, and the hearts of the believers yearn for this great ritual. They watch the pilgrims’ journey and worship God during this day, as it is the day of the greatest Hajj, and fasting it (for non-pilgrims) expiates two years, and no one A day on which God will free more slaves than the Day of Arafat.

The best supplication is the supplication on the Day of Arafah

The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The best supplication is the supplication on the Day of Arafat, and the best of what I and the prophets before me said: There is no god but God alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him is praise, and He has power over all things” (Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi 3585).

Prayers for the Day of Arafat

You can repeat a set of correct supplications mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah, and pray for yourself, your parents, your household, and all Muslims.

• Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith, and do not place in our hearts any hatred for those who believe. Our Lord, You are Most Compassionate and Merciful. Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house as a believer and the male and female believers.
• O God, forgive me my sin, my ignorance, and my extravagance in my affairs, and what You know better than me. O God, forgive me my seriousness, my jest, my mistakes, and my intentionality, and all of that is with me. O God, forgive me what I have presented, what I am pleased with, what I have delayed, what I have announced, and what You know best Nenny, you are the presenter You are the Delay, and You are Powerful over all things.
• Oh God, I have wronged myself greatly, and no one forgives sins except You, so grant me forgiveness from You, and have mercy on me with a mercy that will make me happy in both worlds.
• O God, improve for me my religion, which is the protection of my affairs, improve for me my world, which contains my livelihood, improve for me my hereafter, which contains my hostility, and make life an increase for me in all goodness, and death a relief for me from all evil.
• O Ever-Living, O Ever-Living, by Your mercy I seek help. Fix all my affairs for me and do not leave me to myself for the blink of an eye.
• Oh God, I am your servant, the son of your servant, the son of your female slave, my forelock is in your hand, your judgment continues over me, your decree is just for me, I ask you with every name that is yours, with which you named yourself, or which you taught to one of your creation, or which you revealed in your book, or which you reserved in the knowledge of the unseen with you; To make the Qur’an the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the removal of my sadness, and the release of my worries.
• Oh God, Owner of the kingdom, You give kingdom to whomever You wish, You take away kingdom from whomever You wish, You exalt whomever You wish, and humiliate whomever You wish. With Your hand is good. You are capable of all things. Most Merciful of this world and the Hereafter, and Most Merciful of them. You give them to whomever You wish and withhold from them whomever You wish. Have mercy on me, a mercy that enriches me with the mercy of anyone else.
• O God, O Ever-Living, O Ever-Living, O Possessor of Majesty and Honour, O Best of those who are asked, most generous of those who give, and most generous of those who bestow, I ask You by Your most beautiful names and Your exalted attributes, and by Your greatest name by which, if you are called upon, you answer: O God, whatever You have apportioned and estimated in these virtuous days of mercy, forgiveness, abundance of sustenance, and freedom from Hell. And long life, guidance, righteousness, healing, health, success, and acceptance, so grant me, my parents, and my family the best luck and share from this supplication, fulfill our hopes, cover our faults, secure our wonders, protect us, relieve our worries, and do not deprive us of your grace, O Ever-Living, O Ever-Living.
• O Lord, I raised my palms in supplication, hoping that you would not reject my prayers, O Judge of needs, O Revealer of distress, O Answerer of prayers, O Forgiver of transgressions, heal us and pardon us, relieve our worries, open our chests, fix our conditions, fulfill our hopes, heal our sick, have mercy on our dead, and be happy. Our hearts, and make us among those accepted by You in this world and the hereafter, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the Merciful.
• And to everyone who passed to God’s mercy: O Lord, honor them with a paradise as wide as the heavens and the earth, and they may choose between its doors, and make their graves good gardens with the goodness of Paradise. O God, as you have good their remembrance on your earth and among your creation, good their remembrance in your heavens and among your angels, and make them dwell in the highest paradise, O Most Merciful of the Merciful.
• Oh God, grant me what I want, for You know the secret and what is hidden. Oh God, I entrusted you with all my affairs, so beautify them as good as you wish, and make me, O Lord, among those whom you looked at and had mercy on, and heard his supplications and answered him.
• Oh God, I ask You for steadfastness in the matter, and the determination to attain righteousness, and I ask You for gratitude for Your blessings, and I ask You to worship You well, and I ask You for a sound heart, and I ask You for a sincere tongue, and I ask You for the good of what You know, and I seek refuge in You than for the evil of what You know, and I seek Your forgiveness for what You know Indeed, you are the Knower of the unseen.
• O Lord, I pray to You, by Your glory and majesty, not to make a need difficult for me, not to make a matter difficult for me, not to belittle my stature, not to reveal a secret to me, and not to break my back.
• Oh God, we ask you in your great, greatest name, by which if you are called upon, you answer, and if you are asked by it, you give, and in all of your most beautiful names, what we know of them and what we do not know, to answer our prayers for us, fulfill our desires, fulfill our needs, relieve our distress, forgive our sins, cover our faults, and turn to us in repentance. May you heal us, pardon us, reconcile our families and offspring, and have mercy on us with your vast mercy, a mercy that enriches us with no one else’s mercy.
• Oh God, protect us with your lawful things from your forbidden things, and make us rich with your grace above those other than you.
• Oh God, I ask you, O God, that you are the One, the One, the Eternal, the One who did not give birth or be born, and there is no one equal to Him, to forgive me my sins, for you are the Forgiving, the Merciful.
• Oh God, I ask you to lift my remembrance, relieve my burden, set right my affairs, and forgive my sins.
• Oh God, I ask you for faith that does not return, bliss that does not expire, and accompanying our Prophet Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace) to the highest paradise of eternity.
• O God, make faith beloved to us and beautify it in our hearts, and make disbelief, immorality, and disobedience hateful to us, and make us among the rightly guided.
• Oh God, let us die as Muslims, give us life as Muslims, and join us with the righteous, free of disgrace and temptation.
• O God, increase us and do not diminish us, honor us and do not degrade us, give us and do not deprive us, favor us and do not favor us, and be pleased with us and be pleased with us.
• Oh God, reduce our stumbles, forgive our slips, atone our bad deeds, and cause us to die with the righteous, O Mighty, O Forgiving.
• Oh God, grant me health in my soul and in my body, in my heart and in my body, in my health and in my strength, and in my life and the hereafter.
• Oh God, I seek refuge in You from disobedience to children, from the estrangement of relatives, from the alienation of the living, and from the change of friends.
• Oh God, I seek refuge in You from a heart that is not humble, from a supplication that is not heard, from a soul that is not satisfied, and from knowledge that is not beneficial. Oh God, I seek refuge in You from these four.
• O God, grant me guidance, piety, chastity, wealth, victory in Paradise, and salvation from Hell.
• Oh God, we ask You for Paradise and the words and deeds that bring us closer to it, and we seek refuge in You from Hell and the words and deeds that bring us closer to it.
• Oh God, I seek refuge in You from worry and sadness, inability and laziness, from cowardice, miserliness, senility, and the torment of the grave. Oh God, give our souls piety and purification. You are better than those who purify them. You are its guardian and master. Oh God, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that is of no use, from a heart that is not humble, and from a soul that is not satisfied. It is an invitation that is not answered.
• Oh God, I seek refuge in You from the disappearance of Your grace, the change in Your well-being, the suddenness of Your vengeance, and all of Your anger.
• O God, O reliever of grief, grant me relief and a way out of my affairs, O Hearer of every complaint, and revealer of every distress. I pray to you, O God, the supplication of one whose distress is severe, whose strength is weakened, and whose resourcefulness is diminished, the supplication of an anguished distressed person who cannot find relief for what has befallen him except You, so relieve me of what concerns me. Take care of my affairs with your kindness, and treat me with your mercy and generosity. You are capable of all things.
• O God, our Lord, praise be to You, You are the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and those in them. Praise be to You, You are the Lord of the heavens and the earth and those in them. Praise be to You. You are the light of the heavens and the earth and those in them. You are the truth, your word is the truth, your promise is the truth, and your meeting is the truth.. Oh God, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as you prayed for Abraham and The family of Abraham and bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as you blessed Abraham and the family of Abraham in the worlds. You are Praiseworthy and Glorious
