Study: Winter is a real danger in the increase in the spread of `Corona`
Weather of Arabia - Researchers from Banaras Hindu University and Central University in Rajasthan, India, said that there could be an increase in the incidence of the emerging coronavirus during the winter season.
Biochemists compared Dr. Chandi Mandal and Dr. Mahavir Singh Banwar in their study of average temperatures and the number of Covid-19 cases active in different countries from late March to mid-April.
The results of the study showed that in high latitudes where the climate is cold almost all the time, the number of "new corona" cases was relatively higher compared to places with warmer climates and lower latitudes.
The researchers concluded that the cold environment may be an additional risk factor for an increased prevalence of corona infection emerging.
Warning about a new offer for "Covid-19" .. what is it?
Two reasons increase the risk of an increased outbreak of corona and influenza-like viruses
The study stated that it is noted that influenza-like diseases spread more during the winter for two reasons:
- First, sunlight is less during winter and the weather is mostly dry. This increases the stability of the virus as there are low levels of UV radiation in the environment.
- Second, due to the lack of sunlight, it will reduce the level of vitamin D in the body, which makes us vulnerable to infection with the virus.
So Indian researchers believe that the summer season can be the best time to fight the virus, unlike winter where the risk of further spread of the disease increases.
