موقع ArabiaWeather.com – سنان خلف – سجلت الأجزاء الشمالية من المملكة درجات حرارة مُتدنية وصلت إلى مادون الصفر المئوي في بعض المناطق، وكانت المملكة قد بدأت تتعرض مع ساعات مساء الأربعاء لتدفق كُتلة هوائية باردة قطبية المنشأ بدأت بالتسلل تدريجيا نحو الأجزاء الشمالية من المملكة وخاصة المتاخمة للحدود مع العراق والاردن.
وسجلت محطات الرصد المُنتشرة في شمال المملكة درجات حرارة وصلت إلى مادون الصفر المئوي كانت أدناها في طريف التي وصلت فيها درجة الحرارة الصغرى إلى -3 درجات مئوية تحت الصفر، تلتها محطة القريات التي سجلت إنخفاضاً كبيراً على درجات الحرارة حيثُ وصلت إلى درجة مئوية واحدة تحت الصفر، في حين سجلت محطة عرعر درجات حرارة صغرى اعلى قليلاً لكنها لم تتعدى الدرجتين.
أما عن التوقعات خلال اليومين القادمين فمن المتوقع أن تتعمق الكتلة الهوائية الباردة نحو المناطق الوسطى والشرقية بحيث تعمل على انخفاض درجات الحرارة في مناطق واسعة من المملكة بما فيها العاصمة الرياض.
