Countries have officially announced that Saturday is the first day of Shawwal and the first day of Eid al-Fitr for the year 2023
Weather of Arabia - Most of the Arab Islamic countries investigated the crescent of the month of Shawwal today, Thursday, to find out the date of Eid Al-Fitr, while astronomical calculations indicated that Eid Al-Fitr comes on Friday, corresponding to April 21, but the announcement of the beginning of the month of Shawwal is linked to the legal vision of the crescent in many Arab and Islamic countries .
And after the legal committees investigated the crescent of Shawwal this evening, most Arab countries announced that tomorrow, Friday, the first day of the month of Shawwal and Eid al-Fitr, while other countries announced that the sighting of the crescent was not proven.
Countries declared Saturday the first day of Eid al-Fitr after the crescent of Shawwal could not be seen, namely:
