Weather of Arabia - As part of its permanent plans to relieve the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God, the Holy Capital Municipality began implementing a project to cool the asphalt surfaces of the roads in the holy sites, by coating them with an insulating material that contributes to reducing the temperature. Service and comfort of pilgrims.

The new project will contribute to reducing temperatures on the targeted roads and paths from 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, as temperatures will be recorded every 10 seconds during the season through sensors that were placed under the asphalt.

During the month of Dhu al-Hijjah for this year, it is expected that a hot and dry atmosphere will prevail in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and the holy sites in general, with temperatures around 43 degrees Celsius, and God knows best.
