موقع"طقس العرب"الإلكتروني-عمر الدجاني-سجّلت أحوال الطقس في مكة المُكرمة خلال شهر حزيران 2012 ارقاماً مُتطرفة سُجل على إثرها عدّة ارقام قياسية على مُستوى الكرة الارضية بأكملها.
فقد بلغت درجة الحرارة العُظمى المُسجلة يوم 2-6-2012 في مكُة المكرمة 51.4 درجة مئوية و هي اعلى درجة حرارة مُسجلة على سطح الكُرة الأرضية خلال شهر جزيران/يونيو 2012 بأكمله.
كما شهدت ايام هذا الشهر تدوين رقم قياسي لم يسبق حدوثه ليس على مستوى مكة او السعودية فحسب، بل على مستوى الكرة الأرضية، حيثُ شهدت مدينة مكّة و ما حولها هطولاً للأمطار يوم 5-6-2012 بينما كانت درجة الحرارة 42.8 وقت الهطول،لتكون تلك أعلى درجة حرارة يُسجل قيها هُطول على مُستوى الكُرة الأرضية،علماً بان درجة الحرارة العُظمى قد وصلت في وقتٍ آخر ذلك اليوم إلى 48 درجة مئوية و ان الرقم السابق كان مُسجلاً في مدينة مراكش المغربية في تموز لعام 2010.
