موقع ArabiaWeather.com- إيبولا يعود من جديد، لكن هذه المرة بين عائلة من القرود وبسلالة جديدة غبر قاتله، فقد أعلنت وزارة الصحة في الفلبينىن أنها اكتشفت إصابة عائلة من القرود بسلالة جديدة من فيروس إيبولا داخل إحدى المنشآت البحثية.

 

و أكدت وزيرة الصحة جانيت جارين أن الجهات الصحية عملت مباشرة على عزل العاملين بالمنشأة وإخضاعهم للفحوصات الطبية خشية إصابتهم بالفيروس، وجاءت كل العينات سلبية وخالية من فيروس إيبولا.

 

 وأضافت: "إن هذه هي أضعف سلالة إيبولا بالنسبة للبشر، وتهديدها قليل أو منعدم". يذكر أنه في عام 2008، اكتشف فيروس إيبولا ريستون بين الخنازير الأليفة في الفليبين، وفي عام 1989 اكتشف الفيروس في قرود من فصيلة المكاك استوردتها الولايات المتحدة من الفلبين".
