موقع Arabiaweather.com- ناشدت سلطة المياه المواطنين لحماية عدادات المياه، من موجة الصقيع المقبلة، وقد أكد أمين عام السلطة بالوكالة المهندس بسام صالح أن موجة الصقيع قد تؤدي لإتلاف عدادات المياه المكشوفة ما يتسبب بانقطاع المياه عن عقارات ومنازل المواطنين وتحملهم أعباء مالية إضافية.
وبدوره دعا المواطنين الاستجابة لنداءات السلطة باتباع الإجراءات والتعليمات التي أعلنتها السلطة لحماية العدادات ضمن المواصفات التي حددتها بلفها بقطعة قماش أو خيش، ومن ثم لفها بقطعة بلاستيكية أو كيس بلاستيكي لحمايتها من التجمد والتعرض لخطر التلف مؤكداً على أن التعليمات تنص على أن أي عداد يصاب بالتلف سيتحمل المواطن كلفة إصلاحه او استبداله.
كما حذر المواطنين من ربط مزاريب مياه الأمطار على شبكة الصرف الصحي وضرورة تحويل المياه وتجميعها في الخزانات التجميعية واستعمالها في الأمور المنزلية المختلفة.
