The Jordan Valley Authority declares a moderate state of emergency and warns of flash floods

The Jordan Valley Authority announces work within the medium emergency plan, as all necessary measures and preparations have been taken through all departments in the Jordan Valley, activating emergency rooms, and raising the readiness of cadres, machinery, and equipment in the areas of the northern and central Jordan Valley, the Control Directorate, and in all its affiliated directorates, and the Southern Jordan Valley, as well as in all locations. The Jordan Valley Authority calls on citizens, farmers, and livestock breeders to take all necessary precautions to protect property and lives, follow developments in the weather condition, and stay away from water collection areas, dams, valley streams, and torrents.
