Sultanate of Oman: Areas covered by rain forecast on Monday 9/30/2024
From the Arab Weather Center - The latest weather maps resulting from what is called computer simulation indicate expectations that the Sultanate's atmosphere will continue to be affected by a trough of a western low pressure system, coinciding with an influx of eastern humidity from the Arabian Sea; which will lead to the continuation of unstable weather conditions on Monday in many areas.
Areas covered by rain forecast in the Sultanate on Monday
The latest weather maps indicate expectations of renewed activity of cumulonimbus clouds in the afternoon hours of Monday over several parts of the Al Hajar Mountains, especially the western and central Al Hajar Mountains, accompanied by rain of varying intensity, which may sometimes be accompanied by thunder and hail, leading to the flow of valleys and ravines.
There will also be a chance for clouds to flow and form over parts of the coasts and mountains of Dhofar Governorate, with scattered rains, God willing.
As for temperatures, they will be lower than usual for this time of year, and the weather will be more moderate during the day, and it is expected to be cold at night over the peaks of the Hajar Mountains.
And God knows best.
