Sultanate of Oman | Relatively cold weather at night and continued absence of weather events in the coming days
Arab Weather - Weather experts at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the latest outputs from the so-called computer simulation indicate the absence of weather events in the Sultanate during the coming days, but the atmosphere will remain under the influence of the less hot air mass coming from the north, which leads to relative coldness at night and early morning, especially in the interior regions.
Stable and moderate weather, tending to be warm in the afternoon and evening
In detail, the Sultanate will continue to be affected in the coming days by a cooler air mass coming from the north, as the weather will remain moderate in various regions and tend to warm during the afternoon and evening hours, especially in the northern states of the Sultanate. Maximum temperatures in the capital, Muscat, will be around 25-27 degrees Celsius, but they may rise with the weekend to reach around 29 degrees Celsius during the day.
The winds will be variable in direction and light in speed, while they will be moderate northeasterly with active gusts on the Sultanate’s coasts overlooking the Sea of Oman.
Despite the warm weather during the day, the weather tends to be cold during the late night hours, especially in the interior regions.
Specialized weather maps indicate that the weather will remain cool to relatively cold in the late night and early morning hours, especially in the interior areas and those far from marine influences, which requires wearing warmer clothing.
Indicators do not bode well for the return of weather events to the Sultanate soon
Medium-term weather maps indicate the absence of major or important weather events in the Sultanate, which requires farmers to take preventive measures due to the expected lack of rain during the coming period and the semi-dry weather. We ask God to give us rain and not make us among the despairing.
And God knows best.
