Sultanate of Oman: Expected indirect effects of Cyclone Pebargui on the Sultanate in the coming days
Weather of Arabia - The latest satellite images show the emergence of the eye of cyclone Bebargui (a third-degree hurricane), and the distance between the eye of the hurricane and the coasts of the Sultanate is estimated at about 900 km.
And specialists in the Arab Weather Center confirmed that the tropical cyclone "Pepargui" will not affect the Sultanate directly, according to the latest weather maps and many forecast models, with expectations that it will continue to move north towards Pakistani lands and northern India during the coming days. It is likely that the Sultanate will be affected by indirect effects during the coming days, through the rise of sea waves on the coasts of the Sultanate overlooking the Arabian Sea, reaching a height of between 3 to 6 meters, and the influx of scattered clouds (high and medium) is likely.
And the weather is hot to very hot in most regions, and temperatures approach mid-forties in parts of the governorates of North Al-Batinah and South Al-Batinah, while they approach fifty in desert areas, God willing.
