Weather of Arabia - The latest weather readings indicate expectations that the Sultanate's atmosphere will remain under the influence of an atmospheric elevation in the layers of the atmosphere during the coming days, so that conditions are ripe for the formation of fog in some areas, with activity of northwest winds in desert areas.

Dawn and early morning low clouds and fog are expected to flow over parts of the governorates of Dhofar, Al Wusta, South Al Sharqiyah, Al Buraimi, and the deserts of North Al Sharqiyah and Dakhiliyah, in addition to parts of the coasts of the Sea of Oman.
The weather will be clear and relatively hot to hot in most regions, with the possibility of some limited clouds forming over parts of the Hajar Mountains, which may be accompanied by sporadic showers of rain.
Northwesterly winds will gradually become active during the day on Friday in parts of western Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates, stirring up dust and sand.
