Noticeable drop in temperature
Incoming rains over parts of the Hajar Mountains and Musandam
In the details, a depression is approaching the northwestern part of the Sultanate of Oman through southern Iran, so that the Sultanate is under the influence of air currents with temperatures around their normal rates, so that temperatures will gradually decrease during the coming days, God willing.
Unstable weather conditions will also arise starting from Friday, so that quantities of cumulus rain clouds multiply over limited and scattered parts of the Al Hajar Mountains, especially during the afternoon and evening periods, accompanied by showers of rain coinciding with the flow of some rain clouds over Musandam.
It is not expected that the atmospheric groove will have strong effects on the Sultanate in terms of rainfall as the previous one, due to the formation of a tropical condition in the Arabian Sea that works to monopolize moisture and prevent its flow into the Sultanate’s airspace, and thus the chances of rain become limited and in narrow geographical areas.
