A Palestinian young man finds a chemical equation that produces gasoline
ArabiaWeather.com - The 19-year-old Palestinian Ibrahim Saad managed to produce unleaded gasoline , after several attempts that lasted for two months, in his small laboratory located in the Shujaiya neighborhood of Gaza City.
Ibrahim set out his plan for the mechanism of making benzene a year ago, but he started his experiments two months ago in his small laboratory in one of the rooms of his house, to succeed in producing benzene in small quantities by reaching a special chemical formula in which he uses "carbon" and "hydrogen", according to Al Jazeera Net.
Ibrahim complains of several difficulties he faced during his research work, represented by the lack of financial resources and the lack of interest in him and other creative youth, indicating that he went to government and private agencies to support his new project, but no one helped him.
Ibrahim says, "Despite the difficulties, he was able to produce gasoline, using it to operate a motorcycle and electric generators," stressing that gasoline has no negative effects on the environment, as it does not contain lead, and its quality is comparable to imported gasoline.
Ibrahim did not stop at inventing gasoline, but rather developed plans to establish a micro-project at a cost of five thousand dollars that would enable him to produce two hundred liters of gasoline per day.
And he indicated that if the same project is established with larger production units and at a total cost of fifty thousand US dollars, then four thousand liters of gasoline can be produced per day. Which may contribute significantly in the future to solving the fuel crisis that Gaza has been suffering from for years.
The invention of unleaded gasoline is not the only invention achieved by Ibrahim. A year ago, he was able to invent the "X-Zero Water" device and won first place at the level of the Directorate of Education in the eastern region of Gaza City. The device uses chemicals that interact with water and produce heat that is used to heat the water, and hydrogen gas is burned to produce heat used for cooking instead of domestic cooking gas, of which Gaza suffers from an acute shortage due to the blockade.
Saad did not reach this invention except through his father's support for him, morally and financially, as much as he could, in order to enable him to develop his abilities and implement his ideas.
