watched Pink smoke raises controversy in the Sultanate of Oman and the reason...
Weather of Arabia - The Environment Agency in the Sultanate of Oman revealed the secret of colorful smoke rising from an earthen hole in the Wilayat of Samail in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, in light of the heavy rain that struck the country last Sunday.
In an explanatory statement, the authority explained that the cause of the smoke was “a malfunction and short circuit in an electrical ground line” in the area, which led to “reactions and escalation of these smokes.”
The authority confirmed that the fault was repaired and electricity was restored to the area. A video clip was circulated on social media platforms showing the rising smoke, which raised widespread questions about the reason behind this strange phenomenon.
The appearance of smoke coincided with a depression that struck the Sultanate, causing heavy rains that resulted in torrents and water flows that swept away cars and surrounded homes, causing the death of 21 people and causing major material losses.
