LG joins Hedera Board of Directors to accelerate innovations and adopt Distributed Ledger technology globally

The Council will consist of 39 international organizations from a variety of sectors and geographical regions in the world. </p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span>LG</span> is the 14th member of the board, joining <span>Boeing</span> , <span>Deutsche Telekom</span> , <span>DLA Piper</span> , <span>FIS (WorldPay)</span> , <span>Google</span> , <span>IBM</span> , <span>Magalu</span> , <span>Nomura</span> , <span>Swirlds</span> , <span>Swisscom Blockchain</span> , <span>Tata Communications</span> , <span>University College London (UCL)</span> and <span>Wipro</span> . As the only home appliances manufacturer to join the <span>Hedera</span> Board, <span>LG</span> will work with <span>Hedera</span> and other board members to define ways in which Distributed Ledger technology can benefit consumers and partners for supply chains by enabling seamless transactions. </p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <span>Hedera</span> board members will manage the contract on the public <span>Hedera Hash-Graph</span> network, and are responsible for approving the <span>Hedera</span> roadmap and updates to the platform database.
