Weather of Arabia - As of Tuesday evening, the general northeastern region of the Kingdom is expected to witness thunder showers of rain as a result of crossing a cold air front of an air depression centered over the Levant and Iraq.

Chances of rain include the northern border region, Hafar Al-Batin, Sharqiya, Hail, Qassim, and the Riyadh region, including the capital Riyadh, where rainfalls are generally light with some medium-abundant foci.

Hafar Al-Batin, the most affected area on the cold front

The state of air instability is generally weak in all affected areas, but the Hafar Al-Batin area is under the influence of the stronger part of this cold front, and therefore the rain falls are more prolific on Tuesday / Wednesday night

Active winds and dust during the impact of the weather

Dusting winds are active in large areas of Saudi Arabia, and the downwinds that accompany thunderstorms cause dust waves, especially in the Hafar Al-Batin region.
