  3. Add the lentils and water (or broth) with stirring, raise the fire to a high temperature and leave it until it boils.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 35 to 40 minutes, partially covered, until lentils are tender.
  5. Uncover the pot, add the salt and spinach and keep the pot uncovered and boil for another 5 minutes.
  6. We remove the soup from the heat, then add the juice of half a lemon and fresh herbs.
