Two Jordanian students develop a system to benefit from solar energy
ArabiaWeather.com- Two Jordanian students were able to develop a system to find smart solutions that allow the use of solar energy , by tracking the movement of solar rays during the day.
The idea of the project is based on the principle of utilizing renewable energy in the best way, especially since Jordan is one of the countries that depend on non-renewable energy almost entirely, according to student Omar Al-Omarien.
And he indicated that the system relies on the idea of providing the solar cell with a smart system that tracks the sun's rays throughout the hours of the day. This system will also help farmers generate the electricity needed to pump water, relying on clean and environmentally friendly energy.
The project also benefits from setting up a wiper system that cleans the surface of the solar cell from impurities and accumulated layers of dust so that the process of converting solar energy can take place in the best possible way, according to student Rashid Al-Omari.
It also works to provide a wireless irrigation system through which the farmer can remotely check the opening and closing of water, and check for malfunctions inside his farm.
It is noteworthy that the two students, Omar and Rashid Al-Omari, won the Excellence Award in the Arab Council for Creativity competition that was held in Jordan, and they also won several awards, according to Al-Jazeera Net.
