Weekly weather | The continuation of unstable weather conditions in large parts of the Sultanate of Oman next week
Arab Weather - The numerical models developed internally in Arab weather still indicate expectations that large parts of Oman will continue to be affected by unstable weather conditions next week, resulting from the continued flow of tropical moisture towards the Sultanate's atmosphere, which leads to the proliferation of clouds and rain showers of varying intensity.
Details of rain chances next week
In the details, it is expected that humid winds and vapors will continue to flow from the Arabian Sea towards the region, as a result of the unusual and rare rise of the tropical separator line into the depths of the Arabian Peninsula, which will lead to an increase in the effective moisture in the sky of the Sultanate, sufficient to build cumulus clouds with vertical extension. Thunder clouds multiply, especially in the afternoon and evening, and include large parts of Oman.
It is expected that the rains will focus on the Al Hajar Mountains, extending from time to time over the neighboring areas, and the clouds will multiply, God willing, at different heights, becoming thunderstorms along the Al Hajar Mountains . Thunder clouds are also accompanied by downward winds that form dust waves due to the winds resulting from the activity of thunder clouds.
As for the coastal areas of Oman, including the capital, Muscat, rain is expected to improve in those areas during the second half of the week, especially in the afternoon and evening hours, as it is expected that thunderstorms will form, accompanied by local showers of rain, which are between light and medium, accompanied by lightning, thunder and activity for surface winds.
Arab weather indicates that these weather fluctuations require caution against the necessity of fixing flyable holdings due to the intensity of the expected winds, the danger of severe thunderstorms and the accompanying heavy rain, and not to risk cutting valleys and torrents.
In terms of temperatures, it is expected that temperatures tend to rise gradually to return to their normal rates during the next week, to return to hot weather during daylight hours throughout the interior, while it is more moderate in coastal areas.
