Saudi male and female students win 9 special awards at ISEF 2024

ArabiaWeather - For the 18th year in a row, Saudi male and female students achieved nine special awards during their participation in the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Exhibition “ISAF 2024” , which was held in Los Angeles, United States of America, during the period from May 10 to 18, and the participation was organized Sponsored by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba” and the Ministry of Education.

Special awards were won by the student Jamal Muhammad Al-Loqmani in the field of materials science, the student Ilyas Maho Khan in biomedicine and health sciences, and the student Layan Al-Qarafi in the field of software systems. The student Areej bint Abdullah Al-Qarni also won two awards in the field of materials science, and the student Fatima Al-Shakhs won in engineering. Environmental, student Lana Al Mazrouei in cellular and molecular biology, student Abeer Al-Yousef in chemistry, and student Saleh Al-Anqari in chemistry.

Dr. Amal bint Abdullah Al-Hazza, Secretary-General of the “Mawhiba” Foundation, confirmed that this achievement reflects the concerted efforts and integration between “Mawhiba” and the Ministry of Education and their strategic partners to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. She praised the results of this fruitful partnership that resulted in many achievements at the international level. And represent the Kingdom honorably on the global stage.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi Science and Engineering Team now has 50 prizes from the special prizes presented by companies to the team during the stages of its participation in ISEF, and the results of the major prizes are expected to be announced this Friday evening, Kingdom time.
