Pizza delivery orders are not limited to Earth.. they have gone beyond that and reached space
Weather of Arabia - Here on earth, if you want a pizza meal, all that is required is to order it through the phone or one of the food delivery applications, and you will have pizza within half an hour or less.
But what if one of the astronauts craved this pizza while they were swimming in outer space? Well they should only order it from Pizza Hut, because apparently they even deliver to space
Pizza Hut delivers pizza to space
This is what happened in 2001 when the American Pizza Hut restaurant group managed to deliver pizza to Russian astronaut Yuri Usakhov, one of the Russian astronauts who were living on the International Space Station at the time.
It took more than 30 minutes to deliver the order, which is the maximum period specified by Pizza Hut restaurants for home delivery, and the pizza was sent at that time on a Russian rocket used to deliver supplies to the International Space Station.
Pizza Hut said it paid the Russian Space Agency about $1 million for the promotional plan, which included a shot of cosmonaut Usachov giving his thumbs up after eating a Pizza Hut pie, and allowing a Russian rocket to carry the Pizza Hut logo earlier.
This required a lot of special planning to achieve. For example, according to an ABC report, "Pizza has been seasoned with additional seasonings, especially salt, since the sense of taste is known to become a little less sensitive in space. Although sausage is the chain's most popular filling, the company settled On the salami because the sausages did not settle in the required 60-day test period: they had mold.”
