Punishment for littering in public places in Jordan

Jordanian law punishes perpetrators of the violation of indiscriminate throwing within what is known as the “Framework Law for Waste Management” that was promulgated in 2020. Those who throw waste and leftovers from trips and picnics in public places, gardens, parks, religious and tourist sites, and public institutions will be punished with a fine starting from 50 dinars ($70). ) and amounts to 1,000 dinars (1,400 dollars), and the Jordanian law punishes those who randomly throw waste in public places for at least a week, and if it is observed that repeated waste is dumped in this way, the Jordanian law resorts to doubling the penalty.
