Weather of Arabia - The Jordanian Maritime Authority sent all ships anchored in the Gulf of Aqaba and the shores of Aqaba, warning messages to preserve their safety due to the high level of the sea wave, according to what was stated by the Director General of the Jordanian Maritime Authority, Engineer Mohammed Al Salman.
The Jordanian Maritime Authority also decided to stop ship movements in the Gulf of Aqaba because of the rise in the sea level for half an hour
Al-Salman said that this procedure occurs in all ports of the world when the weather is disturbed and the sea winds and waves remain in order to preserve the safety of the citizens first, then the ships and the national docks and constructions in Aqaba.
And Salman said that the authority issued an appeal to all ships anchored in the northern region of the Gulf of Aqaba to leave the region and go to the southern region and regional waters and keep ships and ships in a state of high availability and their engines are working in anticipation of any emergency due to the high waves in the marine city
Al-Salman indicated that the sea is in a medium waves state, stressing that ships, ships and small boats are prevented from leaving the beach area and keeping them under the supervision of the competent security authorities for fear for their lives in these turbulent weather, stressing that the Maritime Authority is in constant contact with all parties and marine and port authorities in Aqaba and the capital Amman Through the emergency room spread
