Weather of Arabia - The Jordanian Maritime Authority issued Circular No. 1143 this afternoon, Tuesday, asking all boats and marine vessels to return to the places they had lined up, in order to preserve the lives of the crews of marine vessels, and hikers, in conjunction with the stormy weather

Engineer Muhammad Al-Salman, Director General of the Maritime Authority of Saraya, explained that the authority has circulated to the Boat Association and the Fishermen's Association, as well as to the marine clubs and companies, of the necessity of returning their marine vessels to their places of departure.

Al-Salman added: The Maritime Authority took this decision because of the possibility of waves rising to one and a half meters and because of the wind direction to the south, and therefore the safety of people and marine vessels is a priority, noting that the circular was based on the weather forecast that the authority’s crews follow up on time.

Al-Salman said in his response to the navigation movement of ships lined up or preparing to line up on the docks of the ports that there is a diligent follow-up from the operations room, which monitors the situation, in coordination with the dock operators and with the marine services company.
