Urgent | Lifting the state of emergency in the Egyptian capital due to rain and the prevailing weather

<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><strong>Weather of Arabia</strong> - A short while ago, Cairo witnessed sporadic rain falling on most neighborhoods, accompanied by a noticeable decrease in temperatures, this comes according to a turbulent weather wave, which will continue over most of the governorates of the Republic, the next two days.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <strong>Major General Khaled Abdel Aal, Governor of Cairo, directed the executive agencies, the Hygiene Authority, and the drinking water and sewage companies to lift the state of emergency, to confront the accumulation of rainwater, which may increase in the streets, during the coming hours.</strong><br /></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The governor also appealed to citizens not to go to the streets except for the utmost necessity, in the interest of their health and safety, noting that the citizens&#39; failure to take to the streets - except in cases of necessity, enables the executive bodies to perform their work in raising the accumulations of water, coinciding with the wave of turbulent weather.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> He also stressed the heads of neighborhoods and central lighting officials to review the lighting poles and make sure that the poles&#39; maintenance holes are closed and that there are no cables or exposed wires in order to ensure the lives of citizens</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> The governor also instructed the necessity of the rapid deployment of equipment and emergency teams and their presence on the streets of the capital, to face any emergency through coordination between neighborhoods, the sanitation company, the hygiene and civil protection authority, and the General Administration of Cairo Traffic, and the implementation of the governorate’s plan to distribute straws, pedals, fountains and motors in the main axes, houses, bridges and tunnels, for suction. Any accumulations, if any, so as not to affect the regularity of traffic</p>
