موقع ArabiaWeather.com- شهدت مدينة فينيكس بولاية أريزونا الأمريكية يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 25 أغسطس/آب الماضي، دخول عاصفة رملية شديدة بما فيه الكفاية لتقلب  مقطورة قطار او شاحنة، كما يظهر بالفيديو أعلاه.

 

واجتاحت هذه الظاهرة الجوية جنوب ولاية أريزونا بعد ظهر يوم الثلاثاء، صاحبها رياح عاتية قادمة عبر المنطقة الصحراوية، قبل أن تندفع نحو الشمال حاملة معها كميات كبيرة من الغبار، كما رافقتها صواعق وأمطار غزيرة ورياح شديدة. وفقا لصحيفة "ديلي ميل" البريطانية.

 

يشار أن العواصف الرملية ظواهر عادية في منطقة مدينة فينيكس في فترة الرياح الموسمية ويطلقون عليها  الهبوب " Haboob dust"  وتحدث عندما ترفع الرياح الشديدة رمالا وأوحالا رخوة.
