موقع"طقس العرب"الإلكتروني-عمر الدجاني-تشير صور الأقمار الاصطناعية و البيانات الواردة من محطات الرصد الجوي إلى تعرُض مناطق واسعة من جنوب مصر و شمال السودان إلى عواصف رملية قوية عملت على تدني مدى الرؤية الأفقية بشكل كبير بل و انعدامها بشكل تام في بعض المناطق.

 

بيانات محطات الرصد الجوي في مصر تُشير إلى انخفاض مدى الرؤية الأفقية في مطار ابو سنبل جنوب البلاد إلى أقل من 50 متر،و إلى أقل من 500 كتر في مطار أسوان، مما يعني إعاقة حركة النقل الجوي في هذين المطارين.

 

سبب تكون هذه  العاصفة الرملية القوية ناتج عن حزم الغيوم الركامية الرعدية المتكونة في شمال السودان و الرياح الهابطة المرافقة لها، حيثُ تشكلت هذه السُحُب بفعل وجود منخفض جوي حراري سطحي يتمركز ما بين السودان و مصر،و قد حدثت حالة قوية من عدم الاستقرار الجوي نتيجةً لتفاعل هذا المنخفض مع امتداد لمنخفض جوي علوي قادم من الشمال . 

 

و قد أظهرت صور الاقمار الاصطناعية تشكُل سحُب ركامية عنيفة على أجزاء واسعة جداً من الأراضي السودانية سببت تساقُط الأمطار.
