The storm will also bring strong winds at speeds exceeding 100 km/h, causing severe disturbances in the waves with a height of up to 6 meters in depth, which will negatively affect all maritime navigation operations.

Sharp drop in temperatures reaching -13 degrees Celsius over the mountains

According to forecasts, polar winds are expected to affect large parts of southern and western Europe, where temperatures will drop sharply, especially during the night hours, with temperatures in some areas reaching negative values, perhaps reaching around -12 to -13 degrees Celsius over the mountains. This extreme drop in temperatures increases the possibility of freezing in large areas.

Heavy snowfall on the highlands, especially the Alps, in the coming days

Due to the extreme cold in the lower layers of the atmosphere, heavy snow is expected in the mountains, especially the Alps, and snow will also include the mountains of France.
