Scientists: An ocean under the Earth's surface is equivalent to 3 times the Earth's oceans
ArabiaWeather.com - The French Science magazine published the results of a study conducted by scientists at Northwestern University, showing that there is an underground storage of water amounting to more than three times the total ocean water combined , where the researchers found that the storage capacity of mineral-rich water in the Earth's transition zone ( (between 410 and 660 km in depth) makes it possible for a reservoir of water to be trapped between some rare stones, and this is an answer to the question: "Where does the ocean water come from?"
Mining expert Steve Jacobsen and his team found that the resulting movements within the transition zone (between the lower and upper layers of the earth) lead to the fusion of water droplets with rocks, and thus water droplets are trapped in rocks, thus confirming their hypothesis, through a network of hundreds of seismographs.
It is noteworthy that the emergence of this hypothesis began after the discovery of the mysterious diamond in Brazil in 2008, where analysis of this chamber showed that it contains a mineral called ringwoodite, which contains an amount of water not less than 1.5%, and this sample provides confirmation of the presence of scattered quantities of stones containing Water in the deep layers of the earth, which indicates the presence of huge amounts of water stored in the earth.
Steve believes that there is a cycle of exchange between the depths of the earth and its surface, which explains why the volume of water in the oceans has remained approximately the same throughout the ages, and therefore the source of water above the earth comes from within the earth and is pushed through geological activities (the seventh day).
