Oman | Strong winds and dust in Dhofar as a result of Cyclone Tej

Al-Mahra, and there is a possibility that the hurricane will develop into a Category 4 hurricane.

The Yemeni island of Socotra is exposed to stormy winds and heavy rain as a result of the hurricane wall passing near it. Currently, the indirect effects of Hurricane Tej have begun to affect Oman, as several areas of Dhofar are exposed to strong gusts, which raise dust and dust in some areas and reduce horizontal visibility.

It is expected that during the evening and night hours the effects of the hurricane on the region will increase, as a result of its closer approach to Omani territory, as forecasts indicate rain of varying intensity in those areas, causing torrents and rising water levels on the roads, accompanied by strong winds, and the peak of the condition will be on Monday. And Tuesday, accompanied by very heavy rains and active winds, and warnings of high sea waves on the coasts of the Arabian Sea.
